Maybe it was the first time you felt like a bona fide college student. The last time you smelled the sulfur in the lab. Or maybe it was something your professor said that soaked in and stayed with you through the years. Tell us, and tell your fellow Warriors, what you remember most about your college years at CSU Stanislaus. We’re building a collective memory bowl from which to share nostalgia in dollops. Read about those memories here...
“I transferred to Stanislaus State College, as it was known at the time, from Merced College in the Spring semester of 1969 and received my bachelor's degree in 1971. I have fond memories of professors who were friendly, accessible, and great teachers. People like Chuck Farrar, Lowell Richardson, Hobart Hamilton, Bob Smith, and others were not only inspirational teachers, but became lifelong friends. I also remember fondly those classmates who attended with me at a time when our country was experiencing a tumultuous time it its history. Being at Stanislaus State at that time with those students was an experience that I will treasure forever. Those are times that I share with my children when we talk to them about preparing to go to college.”
