Ask Titus...

Titus

Meet Titus. He is our CSU Stanislaus warrior mascot and he is here to help you with any questions you may have about Admissions.

How can I get my student login information?

We have a great step-by-step document (pdf) explaining how to retrieve your student login information.

What address do I mail my transcripts to?

Transcripts should be sent to:

CSU Stanislaus
Attn: Admissions
One University Circle
Turlock, CA 95382

Do I need to submit transcripts from every institution, or can I just send one transcript that has all of my previous work listed on it?

We will need transcripts from every institution you have attended so that we can evaluate each course you have taken.

I am a returning student to CSU Stanislaus. Do I need to resubmit all of my previous transcripts again?

You will only need to submit transcripts from any colleges you have attended since you last attended Stanislaus. We will have all of your previous transcripts still on file.

Even though I have some college units, can I just “start over”?

No, any course work taken is part of your official academic record. In order to make an admission decision, your evaluator will need all academic records. The evaluator will determine what is transferable.

What is the area B3?

The area B3 is a college level math course (above intermediate algebra).

What is a final official transcript?

A final official transcript is an official transcript that has all final grades posted, with no work in-progress posted. High school transcripts should include a graduation date in order to be considered final. Transcripts must arrive in their original sealed envelope to be considered official.

I turned in my final official transcripts, but my “to do” list still says I need to complete (A1, A2, A3, B3, or minimum 60 units). Why is that item still showing on my “to do” list?

Your evaluator has to review your transcripts to verify that those items have been met. Once they are able to do so, they will remove that item. In the meantime, that item is not a hold and will not prevent you from signing up, or attending, new student orientation.

How do I accept or decline my admission?

At the bottom of your MyCSUStan account, next to your admission status, you will see a green check mark and a link that says “Accept or Decline Admission”. You can click on this link, and follow the steps, to accept or decline your admission.

How do I know if you've received my test scores?

Login to your MyCSUstan and click the "admission" tab at the top of the page. Scroll to the bottom of the page where it says "Test Summary". Click "view all" on the table to see all scores we have received.

After I accepted my admission, my status changed. What happened?

After you have accepted your admission, your status defaults to your file status. Meaning, if your status says “Incomplete” it is because you have items in your “to do” list that need to be completed by the deadlines listed with each item. If your status changes to “Complete” it means your file is complete and you do not owe us any items at this time.

How do I pay my enrollment deposit?

Please watch our enrollment deposit video tutorial.

I have been admitted, when can I meet with an advisor and register for classes?

All new students have to attend New Student Orientation before being able to register for classes.  At orientation, new students will be able to meet with an advisor. Information regarding New Student Orientation can be located on their website at: http://www.csustan.edu/studentlife/nso/

If I am a returning student, do I need to attend New Student Orientation?

Returning students do not need to attend new student orientation. If admitted by the specified deadline (October 1 for Spring, April 1 for Fall) then you will be given a priority registration date. If admitted after the deadline, you will be able to register during open registration. Returning students can make appointments with their major advisors or evaluators if they have questions regarding courses.
