Advantages to Living on Campus
Summer, what can we say about summer? It’s a magical time of warmth and relaxation. A short time frame to relax, chill by the pool and live the stress free life. So you’re taking a class or two or earning some extra money working the summer months, in general your time is your own and you move at your own schedule. We recognize and understand your priorities.
Services, including resident programs and activities are different in the summer resulting in a reduced summer rent. You still get the basics (summarized below), but the full scope of services available to residents during the academic year are scaled back.
All summer residents will be housed in Village III apartments. There is no mandatory meal plan over the summer. The Village Café is closed and there are no evening dining hours. Breakfast and Lunch available Monday-Friday in the main dining facility.
Perhaps the most important reason of all, its worry free! You don’t have to stress about whether or not your roommate is going to pay his or her share of the monthly bills...anyone who has ever been in this position knows that this is a HUGE advantage. Plus the residence halls give you a place where you are in a community of fellow students, some of who will make great study partners and others who can become life-long friends.
To maintain eligibility for summer housing, you must meet one of the following standards, unless exception is granted by the Director of Housing and Residential Life or his/her designee.
