Section I:  Introducing “Big Baba” BLACK BUDDHA (Phra Ajahn Withoon Putamee Arjarasupoh)

 

“Big Baba” is a Buddhist monk from Thailand.  His name is Phra Ajahn Withoon Putamee (Arjarasupoh); he goes by the nickname Big Baba.  Big Baba (also spelled Bigbaba or BIGBABA) is a term of respect and endearment from the local Indian people of Bodhgaya, Rajgir, Nalanda, Bihar, and the Bihar Government in India.  Arjarasupoh (also spelled Ajarasupoh) is his Buddhist name.  Phra Ajahn Withoon Putamee is his Thai family name.
