Bogdana Mindov is a professional violinist and music educator. As an experienced and active performer, she has performed as a soloist and a chamber musician throughout the country and Europe. Mrs. Mindov is passionate about music education and finding ways to engage the community with the performing arts and classical music.
She has been a part of Modesto Symphony Orchestra and Stockton Symphony for the past six years and has also performed with Fresno Philharmonic, Napa Valley Orchestra and North State Symphony. Mrs. Mindov is actively teaching violin to students ages 5-18 and successfully running year-round O SOLE MIO Violin Studio in Modesto, where she is involved with private violin instruction, recitals, and concerts. Her students have been selected and performed on Young Artists Showcases throughout the area, as well as accepted as music majors and minors at colleges around the country. She is also a certified teacher of the Sassmannshaus Tradition, a well known European violin pedagogy method.
Mrs. Mindov has been a regular string coach at Summer Music at Stanislaus, CSUS’ summer music camp. She joined CSU Stanislaus in 2013 as a part-time faculty and regularly participates in faculty recitals.
She holds a Master of Music degree in violin performance from College-Conservatory of Music, University of Cincinnati, and a Bachelor 's degree in violin performance and music education from CSU Stanislaus. Among her teachers are: Myriam Cottin-Rack, Geoffrey Mulder ,Won-Bin Yim, Kurt Sassmannshaus, and Jassen Todorov.
