Connecting to the Web Server

1. Download and install Fetch on your computer: Fetch (FREE) Educational License & Application DownloadNew browser or website

2. After installation, double click on the Fetch application icon - and a "New Connection" window should appear.

3. Enter your information into the "New Connection" window as shown (User ID: requires csus2100\ followed by your first name initial and last name, as shown in New Connection panel)

4. Your "Password" is your existing password used for your Stan account.

5. After all information has been entered, click OK and the directory access window will appear as shown below.

6. Don't start transferring files yet.

7. Select "New Shortcut" in the "Shortcuts" selection of the pull down menu located at the top of your computer screen.

Note #1
To access your specific web directory folder you need to know the address of your directory.
For example, lets assume your web directory folder is located at the Internet web address: http://www.csustan.edu/OIT/WebSite_Development/.
Enter this in the Directory field: /OIT/WebSite_Development/
