Student Support Services (SSS) Program

The goal of the Student Support Services (SSS) Program is to help you stay in college and graduate via a variety of academic retention services.  We will also want to help you transition to the next level in your educational pursuit when you complete your undergraduate degree.

SSS services include:

Student Support Services is a project funded by the U.S. Department of Education. SSS, along with other TRIO Programs, was originally funded as an outgrowth of civil rights legislation during the 1960's. The purpose of TRIO programs is to provide traditionally underrepresented individuals with equal access to educational opportunities.

Under federal guidelines, students qualify for SSS if they are low income, first generation in college (neither parent has a degree from an accredited four-year U.S. college or university), and/or are registered with a disability hindering academic performance.
