Careful planning is necessary in order to preserve your financial assets and provide for yourself and your family. On Thursday, Mar. 28, your Alumni Association will host a free educational seminar and luncheon that will guide you through the maze that is estate planning. You'll come away with a good understanding of the items you should consider when creating your personal estate plan.
Presented by Mark S. Drobny, a certified estate planning specialist, the program—which was first presented in January—will cover tax-free strategies for sales of appreciated portfolios or real estate, living trusts and estate taxes, trust and probate law, and inheritance planning for heirs.
CSU Stanislaus alumni council host Paul Gregory III (Class of '93), states, "Mr. Drobny is regarded as one of the region's top experts on estate planning and related topics. We are fortunate to be able to offer this opportunity to our alumni and colleagues."
Estate Planning 101 will take place Thursday, March 28, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the CSU Stanislaus Faculty Development Center. Lunch and parking will be provided. Call (209) 667-3693 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org by March 20 to guarantee your seat.
